Finally, more pics

PLAY DATE AT A LOCAL INDOOR PLAYGROUND
My little swinger

It's a little blurry, but I wanted to show that she's a CLIMBER!

BATH TIME FUN
She loves it when we play with water.

I just love that grin!

All wrapped up and ready for PJs!

AT A RESTAURANT
Having "serious conversation" with Daddy.

Taking a drink and a photo op.

She looks like she's about to tell me something VERY important.

HELPING OUT
Jadyn wanted to "help" with the laundry.

This is just so HER - happy, fun-loving, glad to see a camera!

Moving Baby

"So, we're moving? That's what all these boxes are for?"

"Well, here, I'll make sure you don't forget to pack me."

"Are you sure we didn't forget anything? Let me check the list..."

Photo delays
To those clamoring for more photos of Jadyn, we beg your indulgence.
We've tried nearly a dozen times tonight to upload photos but we are having technical difficulty. As soon as we resolve the problem, we'll make you aware. Good night!

Passionate Kisses

Ok, she's kissing on request now. Big sloppy open-mouthed ones. She often accompanies such public displays of affection with a "wwwaaaah" sound that is too adorable to be believed.

I'm keeping all boys outside a 20 foot radius from now on.

Growing up
Jadyn's been more mobile and interactive lately, and as evidenced by this photo, she's looking more and more like a toddler and less like a baby. Good thing we're documenting the change.

Oma is Getting Antsy for More Pictures

"I think I was born to make other people smile, and so far I'm good at my job."

"Twinkle, twinkle, yummy star..."

I tried to get her to crawl through. No dice. At least I got a good shot of her.

Dog and Baby Show

"This is the box where my dog Hershey sleeps."

"I wish he could come out and play but he's in time out."

"One day I'd like to ride him like a horse but I don't think my Daddy will let me."
Buy me a ticket on an aeroplane...

When I found out that my 94 year old grandfather was not doing well, I decided it was time to pack us (Jadyn and me) up and get tickets for a plane ride up north. Jadyn was a trooper - she put up with 12 hours in her carseat and, thanks to benadryl, did remarkably well. We spent a week up north seeing family and a few friends. Here are some of my favorite pics from the trip.

A bottle before boarding. Benadryl included.

Asleep on the plane. She drifted off just after take-off. Thank you, Benadryl.

Awake on the plane, happy and refreshed after her nap. She only cried at landing and I think her ears were bothering her.

Playing with Oma and her dog Sandy. They were great together.

Hanging out with my friend Kris's kids, Corey and Kira. (That's Kira showing us her squinchy face.)

My mom sang to her, "Jadyn, Oma loves you."

Atop Mt. Opa.

My favorite picture from the trip. With Great Grandpapa. Doesn't she look like she's reaching out to help him feel better?

Under a chair at Great Grandpapa's house. She got herself in "jail".

Airplane tickets for mom and baby: $575
Rental car for the week: $315
New toys as a reward for being so good: $12
New baby clothes because PA has no sales tax: $53
Catching a photo of her playing with a hanger instead of her new toys: Priceless.

All in all, it was a really great trip. Worth every penny and all the stress.
Hot Child in the City

I got Jadyn one of those inflatable pools and of course took a few pics of her first time enjoying it.

"So, what exactly am I supposed to do in here?"

"This pink jingly thing fascinates me."

"Caution: Contents cute when wet."

A Memorable Memorial Day

We met my parents for Memorial Day weekend and had a great time, despite a few mechanical difficulties. We got some fun pics to document our trip:

Mommy and Jadyn having fun in the lake. Jadyn loves her little shaded float!

Swimming makes a little girl hungry! Hershey the dog, still wearing his life jacket, stands guard as Mommy gives Jadyn a bottle.

Playing on the porch. We're in that "everything is a teether" phase.

Jadyn meets Omi's dog, otherwise known as "Aunt Sandy". Jadyn seemed to like making a new friend, but I think Sandy was mostly unimpressed.

Most of all, Jadyn loved spending time with Omi & Opa.

Yes, we're a patriotic family.

Ridin' the River

So we have some friends with a pontoon boat who invited us out for a Sunday afternoon cruise. It was Jadyn's first time on the water - how could we NOT document it?

Um, I'm not exactly sure where I am, what I'm doing, or what this big yellow thing is I'm wearing...but at least I have my paci with me.

Maybe I should use this thing to call Omi and Opa and tell them what I'm doing!

Hello? Omi? Opa? Hello? Anyone there? Oh, this thing is just a toy! Oh well, I guess I'll tell them when I see them next week.

Hey Mama, I wanna see what Dada is doing. Think he'll let me help?

Oh, he's driving this rig! I don't know if I'm helping but I like hanging out with my daddy!

Not only am I having a blast, but I also add an exponential amount of cuteness to this watercraft!

Just chillin'

Sometimes I kick my foot up, relax and hang out, just enjoying my bottle.

"This is how I roll."

Baby Jail (aka The Reason We Removed the Crib Bumpers)

"Hello, world!"

"Hey, check me out! Using my very own feet!"

"What, was I NOT supposed to use my feet??"

"I really need this teething toy. See, you can't tell, but I'm getting my second tooth right now!!"
