I had been wanting a swing for Jadyn and I finally got a used one from ebay. (I figure, new is not necessary in some cases, and this one works great.) Anyway, I am SO glad I did! She loves it! Finally I can get things done during the day!
See how happy she is??? Er, maybe content is a better word!

I borrowed the one Rachel used with Caiden. It looks like the same one, except the fishies were different; guess because it's an older model.
ANYWHO, Ashleigh slept in hers for months it was a miracle machine for sure!
I should add that she didn't have to be swinging in it to sleep, just in it...
My baby swing was a lifesaver too during that first year! God bless the inventor of that glorious contraption!
ah - as i type, dillon is snoozing in his swing, which makes a glorious amount of racket that soothes him instantly. :)

hey - how is jadyn? paul mentioned some feeding issues on his blog. dillon is colicky! arg! or should i say, arg from 6 pm to 11pm!

Thanks for asking. She is doing wonderfully!
Amanda is still working through some challenges with feeding (related to the bicycle horns as you mention), but Jadyn is growing, smiling (my gosh that just melts your heart) and generally doing well.
It's been fun to get to know you and your family vicariously and we hope we can continue to learn more and possibly help each other along as we go.
P.S.
Sorry to hear Dillon is colicky. So we haven't had any major interruptions except for 3 a.m. feedings. Daddy doesn't adjust too well to those.
But since we got a little mini-swing and let her sleep in at night, she's been sleeping in excess of SIX hours! Praise be!
Hopefully this two-day trend will continue.
